Berlin-based artist, born in the late '80s in the southeast of Europe, fled during the collapse of Yugoslavia to Austria, Vienna. Arnela Trimmel deals with drawing oil and acrylic painting since 2019. Expressive and unconventional techniques are used. "I’m not striving to depict anything with my art. Rather, creating autonomous works that stand for themselves. The deeper meaning of my art is revealed through the act of looking at it. It's not a statement. Not a bearer of signs either, rather an ensemble of forms."
