Meet the women behind BAODT

Raphaela and Alessandra have been inseparable since they were four years old. They met in Munich on the first day of kindergarten. From that moment, the two were destined to be best friends. As they grew older, their bond only deepened. They were the perfect complement to one another—Alessandra, creative and artistic, and Raphaela, practical and driven. 

After graduation, life took them in separate directions. Raphaela went out to get her degrees in law and Alessandra moved to Berlin to study Fashion Design. They always knew they wanted to create something meaningful, something that would reflect their shared passions. 

2021 they finally made it happen. Both coming from an art background, they decided to create a new way of distributing art. 

The art world was vast, but both women felt that they could create something unique—an art business that blended their individual styles while offering a space where buyers and artists could also flourish. They wanted to create a concept that celebrated diverse forms of art and fostered a community for both established and emerging artists. 

They started hosting Pop Up Events with relaxed atmospheres. These events quickly became popular, attracting art enthusiasts, collectors, and those just starting out. BAODT´s Vernissage and Finissage Parties became the place to be - dancing the night away between carefully selected artworks accompanied by good music and cold drinks. 

BAODT isn’t just a gallery—it is a community where art is celebrated, shared, and created.

As the business grew, so did their reputation. Raphaela and Alessandra began collaborating with talented artists, amazing interior designers and great brands. Most importantly, they gained trust throughout their clients and had the honor to curate their private homes and offices. Their business flourished, allowing them to reach art buyers worldwide. 

And through it all, they knew that the journey they had taken together—two women with a shared dream—was the most beautiful work of art ever created.
