DION is a contemporary painter, born in Bremen in 1995.

His informal works guide the viewer into deeper levels of consciousness. They prepare the mind for expanded perspectives and allow the viewer's dreams and desires to come closer to the realm of achievable reality.

“I am a surrealist. With my works I want to encourage the viewer to see the day through different eyes. My art should enable people to see and live their dreams.”

By combining abstract and representational elements, DION creates image compositions that allow a stimulating scope for interpretation. Collectors speak of a “liberating rebellion of the senses.”

DION sees how personal space, privacy and freedom are at risk in the digital era. It encourages you to be present in the here and now, to connect body and mind and to lead a free, self-determined life. At the age of fifteen, DION began to express his passion for art in the form of street art. The unconventional energy of the street still shapes his visual language today.
